THESE EARRINGS ARE INSPIRED BY SONDO'S SISTER, RIMAS (age 14).

When we first discussed doing a series of pieces inspired by Sondos' siblings, I asked her what information she would like me to share about each of them. She requested that I make pieces in their favorite colors and share with the world some of their hopes and dreams for their future.

Rimas is an excellent student who achieves top marks in her studies. She is an artist and has an amazing talent for drawing. She loves life and is a cheerful and loving person. She dreams of becoming a journalist so that she can share her story with the world and help spread awareness about the horrors of the occupation and the plight of the Pal*st*nian people. Her greatest wish is to return to school and have the opportunity for her to complete her education so that she can make this dream a reality.
